JNU Admission 2017JNU Admission 2017 – JNU 2017 Application Forms are available now. Admission has finally started for different courses at JNU (Jawaharlal Nehru University). JNU admissions and CEEB 2017 Application Form will be available until 5 April 2017. The last date to apply for JNU 2017 Admission is 5th April 2017 (5.00 pm). Interested and Eligible aspirants can now go through the brochure and other details of the admission. The candidate has to visit the official website of JNU – www.jnu.ac.in.  JNU admission 2017 came into force for 14 schools and their study programme. While the registration process for selected applicants will start from the 2nd/3rd week of July 2017, the deadline for the same is 14 August 2017.While JNU admission 2017 has gained massive attention from candidates. Candidates are showing disappointment concerning a decrease in a number of intakes.

  • Online Application Form began from – 22nd March 2017
  • Last Date to submit JNU 2017 Application Form – 5th April 2017 (till 5 pm)
  • Date of Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Exam 2017 (JNUEE 2017) – 16th,17th,18th and 19th May 2017.

Category Reservation

  • Scheduled Caste – 15%
  • Scheduled Tribe – 7.5%
  • OBC Applicants (Non-creamy layer) – 27%
  • PWD Applicants – 3%

Eligibility Criteria

  • For B.A. (Hons.) 2nd year – Candidate must have passed 1st year of bachelor’s degree or an equivalent examination.
  • For B.A.(Hons.) 1st Year – Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination or intermediate
  • For MA course – Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks in any discipline under 10+2+3 pattern of education.
  • For M.Phil./Ph.D. program – Candidate must have completed a master’s degree in the concerned language/subject with at least 50% marks

Documents required to fill JNU Application Form 2017 Online

  • The photograph should not be more than three months old.
  • The size of scanned images is maximum 20-50 KB.
  • Qualification Details.
  • Valid e-mail id and mobile number.
  • Scanned Images of Signature (width 60 px and height 140 px) in JPG format.
  • Scanned Images of Photo (width 150 px and height 200 px).
  • The size of scanned images is maximum 20-50 KB.

How to Apply for JNU Admission 2017 Online

1)     Registration Yourself

  • Visit the official website of Jawaharlal Nehru University – jnu.ac.in/.
  • Press “New Registration & Candidate Login”.
  • Enter all the basic details to register.
  • You will receive your login id and password in your email id and mobile.
  • Save your Login id and password for further reference.

2)     Fill in your Application Form

  • Log in with your recently received login and password.
  • Fill your Personal details, educational details, select exam city and choice of study field etc.
  • Click on the tab “Submit”.

3)    Upload Photograph & Signature

  • Upload your Scanned Photograph and Signature.
  • Press “Submit” button to proceed ahead.

4)     Fee Payment

  • Candidates can submit the fee through Bank Challan (E-slip) or online via Debit/Credit Card and Net Banking.
  • Candidates will get a confirmation message of form submission after submitting the fee.
  • Before submitting, candidates should check the filled-in details carefully.

5)     Download the Confirmation Page

  • Download the receipt of JNU Application Form 2017 and take a print-out of the same for further processing.
  • Write down your JNU application number.

JNU Application Form 2017 Procedure

  • The Admission Procedure will tentatively begin from the 1st week of July 2017
  • Aspirants can register themselves on the basis of the specified course on several dates,
  • Candidate will have to pay admission fee to reserve their seats through Demand Draft.
    Admission fee for General Category – Rs.5000/-
    Admission fee for Reserved Category – Rs.2500/-
  • JNU admission 2017 will close in the second week of August 2017.
